My story of Lipo by anonymous,
(Cost of surgery $5,000)

Here is a little background on me and what lead me to want to have Lipo….

I am about four months post-lipo and I thought I would tell you all about my results so far so people  will know what to  I.  I hope this helps most of you. I have a classic pear form with a 36C top, but I have always looked out of proportion.

I’m in my mid 30’s, and have two kids and not a great body under my waist! My measurements before liposuction (how discomforting) were a tight 14 pants, 37 top, 30 waist and 41 hips. I’m 5 foot four

My procedure consisted of my full thighs inside and out and my knees.  I was under local sedation at the surgeons office. I was ready to be in a lot of pain after the surgery, and I was! I was a speck nauseous the day after the surgery. I’m sure this was due to the sedation but it wasn’t that bad. The day after lipo the pain was pretty awful, but I was able to shower two days later. I was able to drive a car on day four and it went pretty well. I wool Percocet but it did not seem to sever the pain much.

As soon as my plastic surgeon said I could, I switched to Ibuprofen The  pro operative  clothes were pretty tight. I think I should have gone with the bigger size for comfort. I ended up wearing sundresses around the house for most of the time.

Swelling TRULY set in from day two but even with it, my measurements were DOWN  (I couldn’t help I had to verify When I arrived home from the lipo I HAD to weigh myself to see the amount of fluids still in me, and I was up 6 lbs from the morning before the procedure. The way I could tell when my swelling and fluid retention set in was because I was not going to the bathroom much, so I started really pushing the fluids with lemon water (a blessing).

I have very fair skin and red hair.  I bruised badly, but it was all gone in 14 days. At week six or seven, I started to bloat again but I knew this was normal from reading on the internet forums. The swelling started to slowly go down and then at week thirteen  I started to swell AGAIN!  I freaked out thinking I was getting fat again, or something went wrong I was still twelve ponds less than before surgery though.

Then one morning about a 7 days ago I got out of bes and looked in the mirror and WOW it was amazing!…it was so abrupt After each huge bulging incident, it was followed with a striking shrivel for some reason.

I still have some lumps and my skin has not joined together fully yet. I still have some swelling so I have high hopes for all of this to go away soon. I keep telling my husband that it will all look better in a matter of time. You can’t tell through my cloths though.

My hips are very skinny! I lost 5 inches and my thighs are much better. I lost four inches in each thigh  and  almost two inches in my knees and they look GREAT now. I have for the most part watched my eating. If I do overeat for a couple of days I make sure eat very light for the next few days with a low carbohydrate diet. I am now 37-26-36 and I look like a normal woman now. The proportions are correct.  I am a size ten pants/jeans, but I have wide bones and a big butt ;) . If I had more funds, I would have had the plastic surgeon do  the entire upper thigh, but the cost was too expensive My surgeon  cost me $5,000.

I am incredibly happy so far and I trust my skin will look better after reattachment. I hope my mid inner thighs keep on shrinking. There is still a sense of swelling and a little pain in my inner thighs when I push them together

Lipo has provided me with the choice to wear anything I want for first time in my life.  My body looks even and proportional now. I feel so great about myself and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it over again or recommend it to anyone looking for that self esteem boost.  It was well worth the money and pain. I really hope my story has helped some of you.
