Breast Implant Replacement/Removal
In some cases, breast implants end up needing to be replaced or even removed over time. Breast implants produce good results for most women. However, sometimes there can be unexpected or undesirable results. Some women also decide after time that they desire a different size or type of implant. If a woman later decides to also have a breast lift, she sometimes finds that a different kind of implant would produce better results. This type of surgery is sometimes covered by health insurance, but not always. If your doctor has deemed it medically necessary to remove your breast implants, the surgery might be covered. If your health insurance will not approve the surgery, special financing is available.
